Have you ever seen a Peacock walk down Main Street? I hadn’t either, until I moved to Wales, Utah. This off-the-beaten-path city is quiet, secluded and perfect for stargazing. Your money will go farther if you buy a chunk of land here, so why not take advantage and build the house of your dreams.
History
Wales is a mining town. Well, it was a mining town, but it is still home to many descendants of the miners who settled the town. The mines were abandoned years ago when better mining areas were discovered, but the small town charm and beautiful surroundings kept several of the initial settlers attached.
